Develop the skill, confidence and knowledge of hockey in young athletes through incorporating a variety of innovative hockey drills. We will demonstrate, correct and encourage every participant in the camps by utilizing proper form, good habits and techniques. We believe that improving a skill comes through repetition and positive reinforcement.
It takes 10,000 hours or 10,000 repetitions to master a skill… With the ages of 9-12 being the most important for skill acquisition it is during this time period that the skills included in the speciality clinics need to be repeated consistently. (Hockey Canada, 2005)
Conditioning Camp Fall 2015:
Week day ice times are in the evenings out in Caronport, Sudnay’s will be either Caronport or Mosaic and times will be posted shortly.
These camps will provide players an opportunity to get ready for the upcoming hockey season through ice sessions designed to get their hands, legs and conditioning back after the summer in preparation for try outs. Each ice session will feature high tempo drills with minimal time spent on instruction, therefore basic skills are required. This is not a skills camp. These camps will be fast paced and intended to improve players’ physical conditioning!

The Epic Breakfast Club has been designed for dedicated players looking to improve their game. All players will be challenged through a variety of drills with the main focus being on skill development. Skills will be broken down and worked on throughout the course of all the sessions. We will demonstrate, correct and encourage every participant in the sessions by utilizing proper form, good habits and techniques. We believe that improving a skill comes through repetition and positive reinforcement.
Ice sessions are an hour long from 7:15-8:15 am being held at Mosaic Place.
All participants are given a snack after the session before they head off to school.
*Private lessons are always available just call or email for 1 on 1 or small group sessions.
*Great Year of Spring Hockey with all 4 groups doing very well. We wrapped up the year beginning of June in Winnipeg. Big thanks to all the coaches, Evan Schwabe, Matt Maltais, K. Kitts, and Dustin Ernest without them this program wouldn’t be able to run. Also great job to all the players and parents who put in a lot of time and effort. We look forward to another competitive 2015 Spring with the 2006, 2005, 2004, 2003 and we will be introducing a 2007 team next season. Hope to see you all the rinks this Winter. Keep your head up and stick on the ice!
