Develop the skill, confidence and knowledge of hockey in young athletes through incorporating a variety of innovative hockey drills. We will demonstrate, correct and encourage every participant in the camps by utilizing proper form, good habits and techniques. We believe that improving a skill comes through repetition and positive reinforcement.
It takes 10,000 hours or 10,000 repetitions to master a skill… With the ages of 9-12 being the most important for skill acquisition it is during this time period that the skills included in the speciality clinics need to be repeated consistently. (Hockey Canada, 2005)
We will be having a Spring Skate Jan 26/14 to assess the great talent we have in South Central Saskatchewan. The camp will be held in Caronport and if interested in attending or would like more info on spring teams please go to www.epichockeycamps.com and fill out the registration form. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org or my cell at 630-7199 if you have any additional questions.
If your Son or Daughter would be interested in coming out (or know of anyone else who would be interested please forward this email on) the 2005’s will be skating at 4:00-5:15pm, 2004′s from 5:30-6:45pm all out in Caronport. The Skate will consist of drills for the first 30-45 mins and then will have a scrimmage for the last part of the session.
I will need registration and waiver forms filled out by EACH player and they can be found on www.epichockeycamps.com you can bring that to the skate and the cost will be $20.00 per player which can be paid by cash or cheque(payable to Weisgerber Management) same time. I will need confirmation by email that you will be attending so the teams are evenly numbered. Also please inform the year the player was born and the position your son or daughter prefers to play. I would ask if possible to show up a bit earlier so we can get the forms handed in and have a little chat with the players before going out on the ice.
