Objective:

Develop the skill, confidence and knowledge of hockey in young athletes through incorporating a variety of innovative hockey drills. We will demonstrate, correct and encourage every participant in the camps by utilizing proper form, good habits and techniques. We believe that improving a skill comes through repetition and positive reinforcement.

It takes 10,000 hours or 10,000 repetitions to master a skill… With the ages of 9-12 being the most important for skill acquisition it is during this time period that the skills included in the speciality clinics need to be repeated consistently. (Hockey Canada, 2005)
