Objective:

Develop the skill, confidence and knowledge of hockey in young athletes through incorporating a variety of innovative hockey drills. We will demonstrate, correct and encourage every participant in the camps by utilizing proper form, good habits and techniques. We believe that improving a skill comes through repetition and positive reinforcement.

It takes 10,000 hours or 10,000 repetitions to master a skill… With the ages of 9-12 being the most important for skill acquisition it is during this time period that the skills included in the speciality clinics need to be repeated consistently. (Hockey Canada, 2005)

Upcoming Events:

Great Year of Spring Hockey with all 3 groups doing very well.  We wrapped up with our year end tournament in Regina at the end of May.  Big thanks to all the coaches, Evan Schwabe, Matt Maltais & Russ McDonald without them this program wouldn’t be able to run.  Also great job to all the players and parents who put in a lot of time and effort.  We look forward to another competitive 2015 Spring with the 2005, 2004, 2003 and we will be introducing a 2006 team next season.  Hope to see you all the rinks this Winter.  Keep your head up and stick on the ice!
